Bedford County is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Central Virginia, between the cities of Lynchburg and Roanoke.  

Walkers Crossing is located in the small town of Forest outside Lynchburg (named for nearby Poplar Forest, Thomas Jefferson's summer home), just minutes outside of the city limits of Lynchburg.  Bedford County is a growing area and boasts low property taxes, new schools, and a location very convenient to the amenities of the nearby city.
